The first results of the desk review is mostly about the epidemic prone diseases which are presented by categories identified as follow:
- Zoonosis
- Viral Haemorrhagic fever
- Vaccine preventable diseases
- Others.
For each disease, there is a description of the fact sheets compiled from WHO and US CDC, the summary of the different outbreaks that has occurred during the last twenty years and the related references. For a better management of these data which were huge and difficult to explore, a web platform was developed to present the results and it will be possible to update the situation regarding the occurrence of outbreaks and to develop others properties for interactivity and collections of new data.
